Web hosting is the simplest way to get a website online. You do not manage a server, install updates or configure a firewall — we do that. You upload your site or install WordPress and you are done.

Web hosting suits a company website, portfolio, blog, shop or a WordPress install. In short: anything that is simply a website. If you have an application needing its own software, a VPS is the better fit.
What is included
Alongside the site itself you get email on your own domain and databases for applications like WordPress. That last part is exactly what most people need, and where cheap providers sometimes fall short.

The choice is simpler than it looks. If you want to spend your time on the website, choose web hosting. If you want to spend it on the server, choose a VPS. Both are good answers, but it is a waste to take on administration you never wanted.
